Tara Dance Sangha of Atlanta offers the Mandala Dance of the 21 Praises of Tara to the community as a blessing to all.

We offer this dance to the community at the completion of our 11-week class series.  This sacred dance is dedicated to the Female Buddha Tara.  Each woman is birthed from the mandala and dances and embodies an aspect of Tara.  A complete mandala consists of 22 women.  Men dance as protectors during the birthing and secures the sacred space with the qualities of the Tara that is dancing.  This sacred dance is a moving meditation to benefit all.

Each dance offering is unique based on the time of the year, the location and the number of women dancing to create the mandala.  The students of Tara Dance Sangha of Atlanta are not professional dancers and offer this as a gift of our sacred dance practice.
